Giving back to the community is an important part of Mu Phi's mission. We strive to organize and participate in several service events each semester. Not only do these events allow us to better our community, but they create a fun brotherly bonding experience for all. 

Our chapter is dedicated to bettering the planet at large through environmental events. These take a variety of forms, including a regularly held Plastic Bag Drive wherein we compete to collect up and recycle bags that would otherwise interfere with our local lakes and wildlife. We also seek to hold each other responsible for our environmental impacts through our Virtual Trash Clean-Ups where brothers are encouraged to photograph and post a local area before and after cleaning up litter and debris. 

Mu Phi strives to lend a hand to those facing struggles both physically and mentally. During the Winter 2016 semester, we raised $6,000 for the American Cancer Society through the Relay for Life and in 2020 showed our support for the hospitalized with our Card for Kids cardmaking event. Our chapter also seeks to uplift our fellow brothers through mental heath check-ins. These vary from simple hour-long group conversations to more creative events like our Midterm Mindfulness Yoga Class.
